POLICIES AND RESOURCES

DRESS CODE

Tabu asks all its customers to maintain themselves in proper dress understanding that various events, performances, parties, and communities have differing views of what is appropriate, stylish, fashionable, and acceptable.

Understanding that all individuals should feel comfortable and empowered to dress in a way that represents who they are, we ask that you consider the following when dressing for Tabu:
1. Please wear shoes and keep them on (If you wear flip flops, no complaining about a spilled drink).

2. Please refrain from ski masks or other masks except during costume type events (We need to see your good looks).
3. Please wear a shirt but we know there are events and times when you might “lose” your shirt. We ask that you not enter the dining room area without a shirt. (Its smart dining etiquette).

We are committed to embracing everyone’s individuality in how they dress and we do ask that everyone respect each other at Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar, treating others as they would like to be treated. We are also bound by the Rules imposed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and we know that government can be behind the times.

Anytime you believe that Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar does not follow the above rules, please ask to speak to a manager or communicate directly with happy@tabuphilly.com. We may not be perfect, but we will do our best to get it right every time.

NON DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar promises to strive to provide a space that is free of discrimination, harassment, aggression or behavior that counters our goal to provide our customers with a safe, enjoyable, open, welcoming, and fun filled space. We will continue to strive to make this a space where all members of the community can feel welcome and free to express themselves as they so choose so long as it is in a manner respectful of others. Our staff is here to make your experience as fun and enjoyable as possible and will provide you with courtesy and respect. We also understand that sometimes a staff member may not understand that their words or actions have been inappropriate or contrary to our non discrimination policy.

We welcome education on the issues to make Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar even more knowledgeable and welcoming than before. If there are any problems, concerns, suggestions, or complaints, we ask that you immediately inform a manager and/or email us at happy@tabuphilly.com post, or a memo with an exciting update regarding your club or club events. Choose a great image or photo to feature in your post or add a video for extra engagement! Keep it interesting and relevant so that your readers read it through till the very end.
